Raising the array over the parapet and the neighbouring roof line clears the morning shadow, which is usually what costs a rooftop system its first productive hour of the day.
A site survey and shadow check came first, then the structural design for the mounting, the supply of modules and balance of system, the fabrication and fixing on site, the DC and AC wiring with earthing and surge protection, and commissioning.
